This year we have spent alot of time researching and investing in systems to provide a more effective service to local authorities, young people, landlords and our staff.
This digital system aids Eclipse Properties in keeping properties, vehicles and staff training compliant and up-to-date. It reminds us when gas/electricity safety checks are due in our properties. When vehicle maintenance, services, MOTs, insurance and road tax are due. All staff training is inputted on this system, so when a staff member is due for training, this system will remind us of that.
We have invested heavily in an online training platform. All staff carry out training online, that means even night staff who don't work during the day are able to keep their professional development up-to-date and relevant. We currently have 23 courses that are completed on this system and are adding more as a need becomes available.
We currently have six company vehicles which are all used for purpose of transporting young people and moving/moving out young people. All our vehicles have TOM TOM TELEMATICS devices installed and can be tracked, ensuring we keep staff and the young people they work with safe. Our vehicles also have fleet insurance and breakdown cover.
All staff are issued with a company laptop and company mobile phones with sims paid for by the company. This is so our staff can work when they are out on their visits.
In our last Quality Assurance which took place in 2018 and was conducted by Staffordshire County Council.
Overall score for this quality assurance was 91.84%
