I have come from Sudan.  I went to the local government in Birmingham and they helped me with housing and placed me with Eclipse Properties Ltd.  

I did not have too much fear, just scared to be by myself for the first time, but then another young person joined me and I felt 50% better but 50% more scared as they are someone new and joining me in the house.

I hope to be fine and learn English with no problem.

I have achieved speaking and understanding English, more than I thought I would. I am not all the way, but I can understand.

I am from Iraq.  I came to Eclipse Properties Ltd with the support of the local authorities referring me to Eclipse Properties and a member of Eclipse came to pick me up and show me my new house. 

I did not know the language, the city, the area nothing. So I was big big scared.

I hoped to be in a safe place, with people I know and a roof over my head.

I have achieved speaking English very good and travelling around the city by myself on the bus and walking.  I now go to college and have moved up a class too.
