YY is an Unaccompanied Asylum Seeker Child and lives in a shared property with 3 other young people. This is what he has to say about our service and his experiences.
"I have come from Sudan. I went to the local government in Birmingham and they helped me with housing and placed me with Eclipse Properties Ltd. I did not have too much fear, just scared to be by myself for the first time, but then another young person joined me and I felt 50% better but 50% more scared as they are someone new and joining me in the house. I hope to be fine and learn English with no problem. I have achieved speaking and understanding English, more than I thought I would. I am not all the way, but I can understand."
